From a weekly dose
to a syringe mark.

Enter the weekly dose your clinician prescribed, the concentration printed on your vial, and how many injections you split it into. The maths is the same for cypionate, enanthate or any other ester.

PER INJECTION

— units
Milligrams per injection—
Injections per vial—
Weeks per vial—
Dose is your prescriber’s call. This only converts it.

How it’s calculated

mg per injection = weekly mg ÷ injections per week mL per injection = mg per injection ÷ vial concentration (mg/mL) units (U-100) = mL per injection × 100 injections / vial = vial mL ÷ mL per injection

Assumptions and limits

  • Concentration is read from your vial label. Common US presentations are 100 mg/mL and 200 mg/mL cypionate; compounded products vary.
  • Units assume a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL). A 3 mL syringe is marked in mL, not units.
  • This converts a dose; it does not choose one. Weekly dose and split frequency are your clinician’s decision based on bloodwork.
