Comparison
GHK-Cu vs TB-500
Both are healing & repair, so the meaningful differences are in kinetics, evidence and regulatory status.
On published evidence alone, GHK-Cu is the better documented of the two (clinical trials). That is a statement about the state of the literature, not a recommendation.

GHK-Cu
GHK is a tripeptide present in human plasma that declines markedly with age, and it binds copper(II) with high affinity to form GHK-Cu. The complex modulates expression of a large set of genes involved in tissue remodelling, stimulating collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycan synthesis while influencing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory pathways. Its dermatological evidence is comparatively strong and includes controlled human trials; the systemic injectable use is far less supported.
TB-500
TB-500 is the synthetic form of thymosin beta-4, a 43-residue peptide whose principal activity is sequestering G-actin and regulating cytoskeletal assembly. That function underlies its reported effects on cell migration, angiogenesis and wound repair, with the LKKTETQ heptapeptide identified as the active binding region. Human data exists from small trials in dry eye and pressure ulcers; the musculoskeletal claims that drive its popularity rest on animal models.
GHK-Cu vs TB-500: common questions
What is the difference between GHK-Cu and TB-500?
Both are healing & repair. GHK-Cu: A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide with the strongest human evidence base of any compound in the healing group, mostly topical. TB-500: A synthetic version of thymosin beta-4, the actin-sequestering peptide most often paired with BPC-157.
Which has stronger evidence, GHK-Cu or TB-500?
GHK-Cu has the stronger evidence base (clinical trials, about 15 human studies) compared with TB-500 (preliminary human).
Are GHK-Cu and TB-500 FDA approved?
Neither is FDA approved for any indication.
