How it’s calculated
total mcg = dose (mcg) × injections per week × weeks vials = ⌈ total mcg ÷ (vial mg × 1000) ⌉ total cost = vials × price per vial cost / week = total cost ÷ weeks · cost / dose = total cost ÷ (injections per week × weeks)
Assumptions and limits
- Rounds vials up because partial vials cannot be bought. A reconstituted vial is typically used within about four weeks; long protocols at tiny doses may waste product, which this ignores.
- Prices are whatever you enter. Research-use material is not priced for, tested for or labelled for human administration.
- Presets use the low end of the reported range in each record. They are reference figures, not recommendations.
